This armored fiber optic cables are designed for indoor-outdoor environments, where the traditional standard fiber optic patch lead can not perform structurally to the requirement. Its structure contains stainless steel armor inside the jacket, which will help make it resistant to high tension and pressure. The stainless steel tube prevents optic fiber from damage and improves system stability.
It contains 6 tight-buffered fibers bundled under the same jacket with a spiral steel tube as strength members to stiffen the cable and prevent kinking. Its durable design allows it to withstand installations and operations..
It is widely used for data centers or Central Office applications, as well as point-to-point connections. The strands are color-coded for easy identification and installation.
