1. Characteristics
Acidic silicone sealant is a high-performance elastomeric sealant primarily formulated for bonding and sealing applications across construction, automotive, and household sectors, particularly suitable for use with non-porous substrates such as glass, aluminum, PVC, and other rigid plastics; it exhibits excellent adhesion to these materials without the need for additional primers, forming a tight and durable seal that effectively resists moisture, air, dust, and common atmospheric pollutants, thus providing reliable protection against water leakage and environmental erosion; meanwhile, it boasts good flexibility and elongation, enabling it to adapt to slight thermal expansion and contraction or structural movements of the bonded substrates without cracking or losing sealing performance, and it cures quickly at room temperature to form a smooth, non-sticky surface, ensuring efficient construction progress; additionally, it features inherent resistance to UV radiation, ozone, and high/low temperatures (typically ranging from -50℃ to 150℃), maintaining stable performance in both harsh outdoor environments and indoor conditions, making it a versatile and cost-effective sealing solution for both professional and DIY projects.
