Acidic silicone sealant is a one-component, solvent-free elastomeric sealant that cures at room temperature through reaction with atmospheric moisture, featuring a distinctive acidic odor during the curing process due to the release of acetic acid; it exhibits excellent adhesion to a wide range of substrates including glass, aluminum, ceramic, and most plastics (excluding some porous materials), forms a flexible and durable seal after full curing which can withstand moderate temperature fluctuations (typically from -50°C to 150°C), possesses good resistance to UV radiation, ozone, and general weathering factors, ensuring long-term performance without obvious aging, cracking, or peeling, and also has certain resistance to water, weak acids, and alkalis, making it suitable for various indoor and outdoor environments.
2. Features

- Fast surface curing: Typically achieves surface dryness within 15-30 minutes under standard conditions, allowing for subsequent construction procedures to be carried out quickly and improving work efficiency.

- Easy application: Can be smoothly extruded through a sealant gun and tooled into a neat shape, suitable for both manual and mechanical construction.
3. Applications
- Architectural curtain wall engineering: Used for sealing the gaps between glass panels and aluminum frames, as well as between different curtain wall components, providing reliable waterproofing and airtightness while adapting to the structural deformation of the curtain wall.
- Home decoration and renovation: Applied in sealing the joints of bathroom fixtures (such as bathtubs, sinks, and toilets) with walls or floors, preventing water seepage; also used for sealing gaps around windows, doors, and glass partitions to enhance thermal insulation and sound insulation effects.
