PC plastic particles, also known as polycarbonate, are classified as a high-performance engineering plastic. They possess physical properties such as high transparency (90% light transmittance), high strength, exceptional impact resistance (notch impact strength ranging from 600 to 900J/m), as well as noteworthy heat resistance (thermal deformation temperature between 130-140 ℃). Furthermore, PC plastic shows resilience to low temperatures, with a range of -40 ℃ to +135 ℃.
In terms of chemical stability, PC is capable of withstanding weak acids, weak bases, and neutral oils. However, it is not resistant to strong bases or ultraviolet light exposure. PC is considered a non-crystalline thermoplastic material that requires preheating and drying before processing. The primary methods of forming PC include injection molding or extrusion molding.
