PM FWDM Device (Polarization-Maintaining Filter-Based Wavelength Division Multiplexer) — 1480nm / 1535–1565nm, Low Insertion Loss, High Isolation — For EDFA, ROADM, CATV, And PON Systems
1. Product Description
This PM FWDM Device is a 3-port passive wavelength division multiplexing (WDM) component based on polarization-maintaining (PM) fiber. It is primarily designed for the multiplexing and demultiplexing of signals at different wavelengths within a single optical fiber, making it particularly suitable for the separation and combination of 1480nm pump light and 1535–1565nm signal light. The product utilizes Corning PM15-U25D polarization-maintaining fiber; its typical port configuration consists of COM, Pass, and Reflection ports, enabling effective wavelength management while maintaining excellent polarization stability. The standard package measures approximately Φ5.5 * L38mm; its compact structure facilitates easy integration into amplifier modules, WDM units, and various system chassis. Furthermore, the product covers an operating range of 1260–1620nm, complies with ITU-T G.694.2 and RoHS standards, and is well-suited for constructing high-performance polarization-maintaining optical links.
