Egg powder refers to dried egg products made by egg-beating, separating, filtering, homogenizing, pasteurizing and spray drying. The special spray drying equipment for egg powder produced by our company is the most widely used process in the liquid process forming and drying industry. It is most suitable for the production of powdery and granular solid products from the solution, emulsion, suspension and plastic paste liquid raw materials. Therefore, spray drying is an ideal process when the particle size distribution, residual moisture content, bulk density and particle shape of the finished product must meet exact standards.

The working principle of the system: the air is filtered and heated, and enters the air distributor at the top of the dryer. In a spiral shape, the hot air enters the drying chamber evenly. The liquid is sprayed into a very fine misty liquid droplet through a high-speed centrifugal atomizer at the top of the tower body, and it can be dried into a finished product in a short time by co-current contact with hot air. The finished product is continuously discharged from the bottom of the drying tower and the cyclone, and the exhaust gas is vented by the fan.

Each egg contains 50-55 GM slurry which contains 22-25% 'total solids'. Egg powder can be reconstituted and can be used for a variety of purposes including- omelette's preparation, baking purpose and for several other value-added products. While eggs are prone to breakage during transportation, egg powder are completely safe and has a longer shelf-life.
