Our precision-cut graphite gasket material is produced from high-purity natural graphite flakes through a refined dual-stage process involving chemical intercalation and high-temperature thermal exfoliation. This advanced manufacturing yields flexible graphite products including expanded graphite sheets, foil, tape, and strips, specifically formulated to satisfy the extreme sealing requirements of deep-cryogenic vacuum systems, chemical processing equipment, and petrochemical pipeline valves.
The thermal exfoliation process generates a unique worm-like graphite microstructure with an ultralow bulk density of approximately 3 kg/m³. Without adding any binders or fillers, these structures are compressed into rolls or sheets to achieve a carbon purity of over 99.8%, delivering exceptional sealing performance, low outgassing, and long-term dimensional stability even in harsh chemical and ultra-high vacuum environments.
