Johnson type Wedge wire Continuous Slot Screen:
Johnson water well screen is the work-horse of the well screen industry and have been used for over 60 years for sand control. Johnson Well Screen, Wedge Wire Screens can be used in both Gravel Pack and Stand Alone Screen applications.
Johnson water well screen wedge wire screens is manufactured by wrapping a wire around longitudinal rods. The wire is welded to the rods by
resistance welding producing a cage-shaped cylindrical configuration. This type of screen, commonly known as wire-wrap or continuous slot, is usually manufactured from type 304 stainless steel, galvanized steel and carbon steel.
