Product Description:

FW212 is one of the wafer-level package (WLP) microbolometer detectors developed by Guide Infrared. This vanadium oxide (VOx) uncooled focal plane infrared detector covers long wavelengths from 8 to 14μm, with a resolution of 256×192 and pixel size at 12μm.

Thanks to wafer-level packaging technology, the WLP infrared detector has simpler manufacturing process, smaller size, lower packaging cost and is more suitable for high-volume and low-cost production.

Due to its miniature size, light weight and low power consumption, FW212 thermal infrared detector is specially designed for applications with low budget. It is widely used in emerging markets like consumer electronics.
