The G615G HOT (High Operating Temperature) cooled infrared detector is developed on the basis of XBn technical route, its focal plane operating temperature is increased without affecting the detector performance. It is available with resolution of 640*512 and pixel size of 15μm.
The G615G HOT cooled infrared detector has better sensitivity and offer improved performance over uncooled infrared detectors. The cooling mechanisms can be less complex and costly than those required for traditional cryogenic systems, making HOT cooled infrared detector more accessible for some applications. The G615G HOT cooled infrared detector provides a middle ground between fully uncooled and cryogenically cooled detectors, making it useful for various applications that require enhanced performance without the complexity of extreme cooling.
