Habio Keratinase is a feed-grade keratinase developed through modern genetic engineering, microbial fermentation, and advanced post-processing technology. The enzyme is specifically designed to hydrolyze keratin proteins found in feather meal, animal hair, and other unconventional protein raw materials.
By converting hard-to-digest keratin into absorbable peptides and amino acids, Habio Keratinase helps improve protein utilization, reduce feed costs, and support sustainable feed production. The product is suitable for poultry, livestock, and feed processing applications requiring enhanced utilization of alternative protein sources.
One unit (U) of keratinase activity is defined as the amount of enzyme which liberates 1 μg tyrosine per minute from substrate casein at pH 10.5 and 40℃.
