Hanpu’s Multiple Effect Evaporation (MEE) line delivers high steam economy, stable production, and consistent product quality for chemical brines, effluent treatment, and salt/alkali applications. By cascading effects under vacuum, secondary vapor from one effect heats the next, cutting fresh-steam demand and total OPEX. Optional TVR/MVR modules further enhance energy performance.
Steam Economy & Low Utility Cost
3–5 effects reuse latent heat across stages; typical steam consumption reduced to ~30–40% of a single-effect unit. TVR/MVR options push savings further.
Gentle, Clean, Reliable
Vacuum operation and short residence time protect heat-sensitive materials. Mirror-polished tubes reduce scaling and simplify CIP.
Automation & Consistency
PLC/HMI with recipe control, historian, and interlocks (vacuum/level/temperature). Inline density/conductivity options for tighter endpoints.
How the Energy-Saving Cascade Works
Feed & Preheat: Metered feed enters the preheater and first-effect heater.
Effect 1: Live steam heats the first effect; generated vapor becomes the heating medium for Effect 2.
Effects 2–N: Each subsequent effect runs at lower pressure/temperature, using the previous effect’s vapor for boiling.
Condensation & Recovery: Final vapors condense in the condenser; clean condensate can be reused. Non-condensables are removed by the vacuum set.
Crystallization (Optional): Concentrated liquor flashes or routes to a vacuum crystallizer for salt recovery; mother liquor recycles to boost yield.
Inorganic Salts: NaCl/Na2SO4/Na2HPO4 concentration and crystallization.
Chemicals & Pharma: Solvent/water removal with tight endpoints and clean operation.
Food & Beverage: Gentle low-temperature concentration for quality retention.
