D32 Series Laser Cutting Nozzle — Precision-Crafted Consumables for Fiber Laser Cutting Systems
The D32 laser cutting nozzle is one of the most widely used consumables on modern fiber laser cutting machines. Mounted at the very bottom of the laser cutting head, directly between the focusing lens assembly and the metal sheet, the nozzle does far more than simply blow gas — it shapes the assist-gas flow, stabilizes the cutting kerf, protects the collimating and focusing optics from spatter back-reflection, and directly determines cut-edge quality, dross level, piercing success rate, and nozzle lifetime. Every HANSEN D32 nozzle is manufactured to OEM-equivalent tolerances so that fabricators can replace worn tips without recalibrating the head, changing parameters, or risking scrap on high-value stainless, aluminum, or carbon-steel sheets.
Single-Layer vs. Double-Layer — Pick the Right Tip
HANSEN D32 nozzles are offered in two internal geometries:
1.Single-layer (straight-bore) nozzles deliver high gas velocity and are the standard choice for oxygen cutting of carbon/mild steel, as well as general-purpose piercing on thin to medium plate.
2.Double-layer (two-stage / Laval-style) nozzles produce a faster, more collimated gas jet with lower turbulence. They are the default for high-pressure nitrogen cutting of stainless steel and aluminum, delivering bright, dross-free cut edges and higher piercing success on 6–25 mm material.
All nozzles in this series carry a knurled (serrated) base rim — the grip ring visible around the flange — so operators can tighten or loosen them by hand even with gloves, and the torque repeatability holds nozzle-sensor height within ±0.05 mm, protecting capacitive height-sensor calibration.
Packaging, MOQ & OEM
Nozzles are individually bagged in anti-tarnish film and packed in clean plastic boxes, 10 pcs / 50 pcs per inner box. Sample orders are welcome; OEM laser marking, custom packaging, and non-standard bore/height combinations are supported. Lead time is typically 3–7 working days for stock sizes and 15–20 days for customized items.
