HW Functional Replacement-Oriented QCW Welding Machine for YAG Welding Scenarios
The quasi-continuous wave (QCW) fiber laser is capable of delivering concentrated energy peaks over a relatively extended pulse period, which endows it with unique advantages in industrial welding. This output characteristic is highly suitable for welding processes that require stable molten pool control, such as local fusion welding and continuous weld seam joining. By setting pulse parameters appropriately, laser energy can act on the welding area with high precision, avoiding excessive heat diffusion. As a result, the welding achieves uniform appearance and reliable joint strength, meeting the diverse needs of metal processing.
During the development phase, this QCW laser welding machine was designed with reference to the requirements of some YAG welding applications, with its energy output mode and control logic redesigned. Compared with traditional YAG equipment, its laser output is more easily adjustable and its working status is more stable, enabling it to undertake the welding tasks that were previously performed by YAG equipment in multiple scenarios. This solution allows users to gradually upgrade their equipment while maintaining the existing process routes, making the welding process more in line with the efficiency and consistency requirements of modern industry.
