Blue laser wavelengths are absorbed more efficiently by highly reflective metals than traditional infrared wavelengths. This characteristic allows the workpiece to reach the required welding temperature with lower energy input during the initial stage of the process. As heat is introduced in a more controlled manner, operators can achieve a stable molten pool with improved process repeatability. The result is a welding process that is easier to optimize for different materials and production conditions.
The synchronized dual-swing motion continuously redistributes laser energy across the weld zone, promoting smoother molten metal flow throughout the welding cycle.
