The Dual-Swing Blue Laser Composite Welding Head is designed for demanding welding applications involving highly reflective materials such as copper and copper alloys. Its dual-swing scanning mechanism, combined with an adjustable beam pattern, distributes laser energy more evenly across the weld area, expanding the available process window and improving adaptability to different joint configurations. This flexible optical design enables stable welding performance across a wider range of industrial applications.
By utilizing the high absorption characteristics of blue laser wavelengths, the welding head allows the material to absorb laser energy more efficiently during the initial welding stage. This reduces the energy required to establish a stable molten pool and provides better control over heat input. As a result, welding parameters become easier to optimize, thermal influence is more predictable, and process consistency is improved for continuous production environments.
The dual-swing beam movement helps stabilize the molten pool and promotes a more uniform energy distribution throughout the welding process. This significantly reduces welding spatter while improving weld bead continuity and appearance. Cleaner welds require less post-processing and contribute to higher production efficiency. Blue laser technology provides an absorption rate of approximately 70% on highly reflective materials such as copper. The welding process delivers minimal spatter, stable penetration, smooth weld surfaces, and high-quality single-side welding with excellent backside formation. In addition to this, the welding head offers improved tolerance for joint gaps, making it suitable for automated manufacturing applications requiring both productivity and reliability.
