This full version spot-ring beam laser welding machine delivers one laser beam made of a central spot plus a surrounding ring. The energy of the inner spot and the outer ring is controlled separately, so the heat input spread over the weld seam can be tuned instead of being fixed by the optics. The complete machine is developed, manufactured and sold in house, covering the laser source, the control system and the welding head in one supply chain.

The full version keeps the inner and outer ring energy adjustable at the panel, so a single machine can move from deep penetration welding to conduction welding and micro joining without changing optics.
