Disconnect the Battery: Disconnect the negative battery cable to prevent electrical shorts.
Clean the Work Area: Clean the cylinder head around the injector wells using compressed air and a specialized brake/parts cleaner to remove all dirt and debris.
Depressurize the Fuel System: Follow the vehicle manufacturer's procedure to safely relieve pressure in the common rail fuel lines.
