A: Cleanliness and priming. A microscopic particle of dirt entering the fuel line during installation can instantly ruin a new common rail injector. Always clean the injector seat thoroughly, replace the copper sealing washer, and fully bleed/prime the fuel system before cranking the engine to prevent dry-friction wear.
