This series of Hastelloy C4 round bars are hot forged & hot rolled solid nickel-molybdenum-chromium alloy rods produced with high purity UNS N06455 raw material. After full solution annealing and stress relief heat treatment, the material owns uniform homogeneous grain structure, tight dimensional tolerance and outstanding comprehensive corrosion resistance.

Different from conventional Hastelloy C276, C4 is optimized for nitric acid and mixed oxidizing acid service. It avoids sensitization after welding or high-temperature service, and will not generate harmful intermetallic phases, making it the preferred alloy for pickling equipment, nitric acid reactors and waste acid recovery systems.
