Product Overview
This series of 17-4PH round bars are hot rolled / hot forged solid precipitation hardening stainless steel rods made from premium UNS S17400 raw material. After solution annealing treatment, the bars own uniform internal grain structure, stable dimensional tolerance and great processing performance. Different aging heat treatments can be customized to achieve targeted tensile strength, yield strength and hardness to meet high-load service demands.
17-4PH is the most widely used martensitic precipitation hardening stainless steel. It fills the performance gap between ordinary austenitic stainless steel and alloy steel: much higher strength than 304/316L while retaining decent anti-corrosion capacity, perfectly suited for precision mechanical parts that require both high strength and rust resistance.
