The HB-BKT80 Series is a 80μm high heat polyimide (Kapton) tape coated with acrylic adhesive, designed for extreme temperature applications up to 200°C for 30 minutes. This gold finger lamination tape offers excellent adhesion strength over 1200g, low electrolysis, and outstanding resistance to alcohol, acids, and alkalis. Its clean removability allows for repositioning and reuse without leaving any residue, making it a reliable choice for demanding industrial environments.
The tape features a three-layer construction consisting of a polyimide (PI) film substrate, a acrylic adhesive layer, and a PET release liner. Total thickness is 80μm with an adhesive thickness of 20μm and coat thichness of 10μm.
Common applications include PCB gold finger protection during soldering, slot insulation for motors and transformers, lithium battery electrode bundling, and high-temperature masking for painting or sandblasting.
