I. Clarify Core System Requirements First (Required)
Number of outlet circuits: 2/3/4/6/8/10/12 channels (modular stacking, adjustable as needed)
Flow division ratio:
Equal flow division (1:1:1…, most commonly used)
Unequal ratio (e.g. 1:2, 2:3, requires customized gear modules)
Synchronization accuracy requirements:
Standard: ±3%~4% (standard gear type, covers 95% of applications)
High precision: ±1.5%~2% (precision type)
Ultra-high precision: radial piston type recommended (±0.5%~0.8%)
Medium type: hydraulic oil / lubricating oil / gear oil (recommended viscosity: 20~100 cSt)
Operating temperature: -20℃~+80℃ (high-temperature seals required for over-temperature conditions)
II. Key Parameter Calculation & Selection (Core)
1. Flow Parameters (Determine Displacement)
Total input flow Q_total (L/min) = Rated flow of oil pump
Single outlet flow Q_single = Q_total ÷ Number of circuits
Gear unit displacement q (mL/r) = Q_single ÷ Operating speed n (r/min)
Recommended operating speed: 500~3000 r/min (optimal: 1000~2000 r/min)
Example: 4 circuits, total flow 40 L/min, speed 1500 r/min → Q_single = 10 L/min → q≈6.67 mL/r
2. Pressure Parameters (Determine Material & Model)
Rated operating pressure P_rated: ≤25 MPa (250 bar)
Peak pressure P_peak: ≤32 MPa (320 bar)
Maximum pressure difference per circuit ΔP: ≤5~8 MPa (excessive difference reduces accuracy)
Material selection:
Aluminum alloy (PLD series): lightweight, medium-low pressure (≤280 bar), small-medium flow
Cast iron (HDD series): heavy-duty, high pressure (≤320 bar), large flow
3. Ports & Installation
Inlet port: 1 common port; Outlet ports: multiple independent ports
Port standard: G thread / NPT thread / SAE flange (commonly G1/2, G3/4)
Installation type: flange / foot mounting / stacking (selected by space)
III. Functional Configuration (Optional)
Built-in relief valve: independent relief for each circuit, protects actuators (highly recommended)
Check valve: prevents oil backflow, suitable for bidirectional operation
Drain port: connected to oil tank, reduces internal pressure
Boost function: some models can be used as boosters, outlet pressure = inlet pressure × number of circuits
IV. Selection Verification (Required)
Actual flow within 70%~120% of rated flow (optimal efficiency)
Circuit pressure difference ≤ manufacturer’s limit (usually ≤5 MPa)
Oil cleanliness ≥ NAS 9 grade (equipped with 10~20 μm filter)
