Scaffolding: Providing mechanical support to counteract elastic recoil and compression in atherosclerotic arteries.
Barrier Function: The ePTFE covering acts as a physical barrier to prevent tissue prolapse and plaque intrusion into the vessel lumen.
Sealing: Managing dissections or post-balloon angioplasty flaps by apposing the vessel wall and creating a smooth flow surface.
