Cold shrink tube is a pre expanded insulating sleeve made of high performance silicone rubber or EPDM rubber . It shrinks automatically and tightly onto cable and connectors when the internal plastic support core is removed , providing reliable insulation ,sealing and mechanical protection without heat or tools .
