Silicon Oil Fan Clutch — Thermo Controlled Auto Speed with Bimetal Temperature Sensor

The Silicon Oil Fan Clutch is engineered for heavy duty truck cooling systems, providing intelligent thermo controlled auto speed regulation for optimal engine temperature management. Featuring a precision bimetal temperature sensor, this fan clutch automatically engages and disengages based on radiator air temperature, delivering fast cooling at low RPM when needed while reducing parasitic drag when cooling demand is low.

Key Features

Thermo Controlled Auto Speed: Bimetal strip coil sensor continuously monitors radiator outlet air temperature and automatically modulates silicon oil flow to vary fan speed from 800 to 3000 RPM, providing precise cooling on demand without driver intervention.
Bimetal Temperature Sensor: High sensitivity bimetal coil sensor mounted on the clutch face provides accurate temperature sensing and smooth progressive engagement. Sensor actuates at 65-75°C with a fast response time to changing thermal conditions.
Low Temp Engagement: Engineered for early engagement at lower radiator temperatures to maintain optimal engine operating temperature range, preventing overheating during low speed high load conditions such as city traffic and uphill climbs.
Low RPM Fast Cooling: High viscosity silicon oil shear design delivers maximum fan speed quickly even at low engine RPM, ensuring rapid heat dissipation from the radiator core when the clutch is fully engaged during peak thermal loads.
High Torque Transmission: Precision machined drive disc and housing with controlled oil shear gap provides reliable torque transmission up to 80 Nm, ensuring the fan clutch handles the demands of large diameter truck cooling fans without slippage.
