The HENTG POWER 160kVA 11kV/0.4kV three-phase oil-immersed distribution transformer is a step-down unit designed for utility grids, commercial projects, and rural electrification. ONAN cooled, IEC 60076 compliant. Hermetically sealed corrugated tank eliminates breather and conservator, preventing dust and moisture ingress. Suitable for ambient temperatures up to 45°C (upgradeable to 50°C).

A: Yes. The off-circuit tap changer (±2×2.5%, 5 positions) allows field adjustment to 10kV, 10.5kV, or 11kV without unit replacement.
Q2: How does aluminum winding compare to copper?
A: Aluminum uses 1.6× larger conductor cross-section to achieve the same current rating. Material cost is 30–50% lower. Load loss is slightly higher (5–10%) – acceptable for most distribution projects. Copper optional.
Q3: What test reports are provided?
A: Routine test reports per IEC 60076: winding resistance, turns ratio, insulation dielectric, no-load loss, load loss, impedance, and tank pressure test. CE support available.
Q4: What is delivery time to African ports (e.g., Dar es Salaam, Tema, Mombasa)?
A: Production 30–35 days. Ocean freight 30–50 days depending on port. Export docs (CO, invoice, test reports) provided.
Q5: What maintenance is needed in remote areas?
A: Very low. Annual visual check of paint, oil level, and pressure relief device. Oil sampling for DGA every 2–3 years. No breather servicing, no oil top-up.
