Product Description
SULFOXAFLOR 20% + spirotetramat 10% SC is new sulfonamide in sectic ide for preventing and controlling juice sucking pests
Acting on the nervous system of insects (unique binding sites in cholinergic receptors), it can be absorbed into plants through leaves, stems, and roots, and has no cross resistance with other chemical in sectic ides; It has the characteristics of high efficiency, broad spectrum, safety, rapidity, and long residual effect period. Used for the control of various piercing and sucking pests such as aphids, blind bugs, stink bugs, whiteflies, scale insects, planthoppers, certain psyllids, thrips, etc. in cotton, rapeseed, fruit trees, soybeans, fruits, small grains, vegetables, rice, lawns, and ornamental plants. It can effectively prevent and control piercing and sucking pests that develop resistance, pyrethroids, organophosphates, and carbamate pesticides, and is the preferred agent for integrated pest control.
Mode of Action
SULFOXAFLOR 20% + spirotetramat 10% SC SC is an in secti cide (mite) used to prevent and control piercing sucking mouthparts pests, with dual effects of stomach toxicity and contact killing, and its duration of effectiveness is quite long. It works by interfering with pest fat synthesis and blocking energy metabolism. This pesticide has strong systemic absorption and can conduct up and down within the plant. Therefore, it is widely used to control pests such as tomato whitefly, citrus tree scale insect, red spider, and citrus psyllid.
Use
Main prevention and control targets
Aphids: including cotton aphids, peach aphids, wheat aphids, etc., especially those that develop resistance to neonicotinoids such as Imidacloprid.
• Whiteflies: such as tobacco whiteflies and greenhouse whiteflies.
• Planthoppers: such as rice planthoppers and brown planthoppers.
• Scale insects: such as citrus scale insects, apple scale insects, etc.
Thrips, psyllids, blind bugs, etc.: Some sources also mention good control effects against these pests.
Function characteristics
• Quick acting: Sulfoxaflor has contact killing and stomach toxicity effects. Pests stop feeding 1-2 days after contact and die 2-3 days later.
Long lasting effect: Spirotetranat can last for 30-50 days and can control two generations of pests with a single application.
Dual directional internal absorption conduction: Spirotramat can conduct in the upper and lower parts of plant xylem and phloem, protecting newly formed tissues and hidden pests.
• No interactive resistance: Both do not belong to the neonicotinoid class, pyrethroid, and organophosphate resistant pests.
