Applications:
In snow plow blades, there is a groove prepared for tungsten carbide inserts .
By mounting cemented carbide inserts onto the blades, the blades can have a longer wear life which is about 20 times over steel and make the blades ideal for high speed highway or airport runway plowing. It means you have more time for working and not waste it on changing blades.
