Z-Block fiber optic cable is manufactured from high-purity quartz material, offering exceptional resistance to electromagnetic interference. Z-Block supports DWDM transmission rates up to 400Gbps, enabling dense wavelength division multiplexing of 192 wavelength channels on a single fiber. Its innovative graded-index profile design reduces modal dispersion to 0.05ps/(nm·km). Combined with a low-water-peak treatment process, it maintains excellent transmission performance across the entire 1260-1625nm wavelength band. Tests show that even in a 100km unrelayed transmission scenario, the bit error rate remains below 10-15, fully meeting the ultra-high bandwidth requirements of 5G fronthaul and data center interconnection scenarios.
Through a specialized polymer coating and metallization process, the Z-Block maintains stable performance in extreme temperatures ranging from -60°C to 200°C. In dual 85°C/85% RH aging tests, the optical property change was less than 3% after 3000 hours. Its thermal expansion coefficient is perfectly matched to that of quartz, preventing microbending losses caused by sudden temperature changes. This product is MIL-STD-810G certified and suitable for high-temperature and high-pressure environments such as refineries and geothermal exploration, and can also operate reliably in the vacuum of space.
