Our BVB surgical gown has passed the stringent ASTM F1671 standard test, effectively resisting penetration by the Phi-X174 bacteriophage. This demonstrates an exceptional barrier function against blood, bodily fluids, and viruses. Whether facing HIV, H1N1, Avian Influenza, or other pathogenic threats, it provides reliable safety for both the surgeon and the patient.
Unlike traditional impermeable protective materials, the BVB fabric features a sophisticated "sandwich" structure: an outer fluid-resistant spunbond layer, a middle monolithic microporous breathable film, and an inner layer of soft, skin-friendly non-woven fabric. This design allows moisture vapor (perspiration) to escape efficiently while blocking fluid and viral ingress, helping the wearer stay cool, dry, and focused during surgeries lasting several hours.
Critical seam areas utilize heat-sealed tape technology, eliminating needle perforations. This ensures that all junctions possess the same Level 4 viral resistance capability, providing truly seamless, 360° protection.
