The CCSC hydraulic actuated API 6A pressure seal gate valve is a full bore, through conduit FLS design engineered for dependable remote control in critical wellhead, choke manifold and subsea service. A forged steel body and bonnet are combined with a double acting hydraulic actuator so the valve can be opened and closed rapidly from a control panel or platform ESD system, keeping operating personnel away from the wellhead during pressure operations. The complete assembly is manufactured and tested in accordance with API 6A, covering shell hydrostatic testing, seat testing and high pressure gas seal testing, with performance verification documented for every valve before shipment.
The pressure seal bonnet geometry uses the line medium itself to energise the bonnet seal: as internal pressure increases, the sealing force on the bonnet ring joint increases proportionally, which makes the design naturally stronger exactly when the valve is exposed to severe shut in conditions. Combined with metal to metal sealing on the gate to seat, seat to body and stem backseat interfaces, the valve provides a robust pressure containing barrier in both open and closed positions and is suitable for production, injection, well testing and workover applications.

This hydraulic actuated gate valve is widely applied on surface and subsea wellhead Christmas trees, production manifolds, choke manifolds, test manifolds and emergency shutdown systems where valves must be operated from a remote location. Typical duty includes oil and gas production platforms, unmanned satellite wells, water injection stations, gas lift distribution systems and high pressure flowline isolation. The actuator can be tied into programmable logic controller based control systems with open and closed position feedback, and the full bore design keeps the flow path unrestricted so the valve is equally suited to wireline and coiled tubing operations.
Packaging & Quality AssuranceEach valve is assembled in a clean workshop environment and subjected to a complete test sequence that includes shell hydrostatic testing, seat leakage testing in both directions and a high pressure gas seal test when specified. Test reports, material certificates and traceability documentation are compiled for every pressure containing part. Valves are then prepared for export with desiccant protection, flange protectors and bolted plywood crates, with the actuator protected by a fitted weather cover. CCSC can supply full documentation packages covering NACE compliance, welding procedures, positive material identification reports and third party inspection attendance upon request.
