This duplex stainless steel high pressure gate valve is manufactured from ASTM A182 F51 (UNS S31803, 1.4462) duplex stainless steel, combining the strength of ferritic stainless steel with the corrosion resistance of austenitic stainless steel. The 2-inch Class 2500LB pressure seal bonnet design delivers exceptional performance in corrosive high-pressure environments where standard carbon steel and 316 stainless steel valves fail prematurely. The duplex microstructure provides outstanding resistance to chloride pitting, crevice corrosion, and chloride stress corrosion cracking (CSCC).
