Capacitance Deviation: ±10%. The ratio of the maximum to minimum capacitance values for each phase and group shall not exceed 1.1.
Dielectric Loss Tangent tanδ (for full-film dielectric) at rated voltage Un and 20°C:

Insulation strength: Withstands 1kV power frequency test voltage for 1 minute between terminals and housing.
Cooling water inlet temperature shall not exceed 30°C.
For capacitors with Qn ≤ 1000 kvar, water flow rate ≥ 4 L/min
For capacitors with Qn ≥ 1000 kvar, water flow rate ≥ 6 L/min
Long-term operating overvoltage (not exceeding 4 hours within 24 hours) shall not exceed 1.1Un.
Long-term operating overcurrent (including harmonic currents) shall not exceed 1.35In.
Indoor installation, with altitude not exceeding 1000m.
Ambient air temperature at installation and operation site shall not exceed 50℃.
Installation site free from severe mechanical vibration, harmful gases/vapors, and explosive dust.
RWM and RFM water-cooled, fully-film electric heating capacitors comply with JB71
Application
Primarily used in controllable or adjustable AC power systems with a rated voltage not exceeding 3.6kV and a frequency ranging from 40 to 24,000Hz. Specifically designed to improve the power factor in induction heating, melting and stirring, or casting equipment, as well as similar applications.
Structure
The electric heating capacitor consists of the following main components:
Core: The core comprises multiple parallel elements. Each capacitor element is wound from capacitor paper (dielectric) and aluminum conductors (plates). All element plates protrude beyond the dielectric. One plate is welded to a cooling water pipe, which connects to the grounding stud or grounding plate on the cover, serving as the overall terminal for that plate.
The second plate is insulated from the casing. It connects to the busbar via a connecting plate and is led out through a porcelain sleeve on the cover.
Casing: The casing is rectangular with lifting lugs welded to both sides for handling. The cover features a porcelain sleeve with a numbered rod and a grounding stud or grounding plate.
Operating Environment Conditions
Capacitors must be installed without vibration. Installation near heaters is permitted, provided non-combustible materials form a solid partition wall surrounding the capacitors or the capacitors are housed in separate metal cabinets.
To prevent damage to capacitor cooling water pipes, the ambient temperature at the installation site must not fall below ±2°C.
Capacitors must be installed vertically (porcelain bushings facing upward). Moving capacitors by their porcelain bushings is strictly prohibited. Maintain a minimum spacing of 20 mm between capacitors.
Connections between capacitor cooling water pipes and between cooling water pipes and water source pipes must use flexible rubber hoses. Cooling water pipes may be connected in series, but not exceeding three capacitors. Drain pipes must not be covered and should be placed in easily observable locations to monitor water discharge at all times.
Cooling water temperature at the inlet must not exceed +30°C, and at the outlet must not exceed +35°C.
When connecting multiple cooling water pipes in series (not exceeding three units), adjust water pressure and flow rate to regulate the temperature difference between inlet and outlet water, ensuring the outlet temperature does not exceed +35°C. The pressure at the cooling water inlet must not exceed 4 atmospheres.
If water supply is interrupted due to a fault, immediately disconnect the capacitor's power supply. When a capacitor is taken out of service due to a fault, completely drain all water from the cooling water pipes.
When using multiple group terminals in parallel on the capacitor, employ flexible connection plates. The main output terminal must be connected from the flexible connection plate, not from any individual group terminal. The cross-sectional area of the connection plate must not be less than 2.5 cm².
If the line voltage exceeds the capacitor's rated voltage, adjust the number of capacitors connected in series or connect the terminals of capacitors operating in series in parallel.
