The Typhoon-Resistant ECO Γ Frame Carport is engineered to withstand extreme wind forces in typhoon, hurricane, and cyclone-prone regions across the Pacific Rim, Caribbean, and Southeast Asian markets. Designed and tested to sustain wind speeds up to 70 meters per second (252 km/h, equivalent to Category 5 hurricane conditions), this system incorporates multiple layers of structural redundancy and aerodynamic optimization that set it apart from conventional solar carport designs.
The gamma-shaped (Γ) geometry has been refined through extensive computational fluid dynamics (CFD) analysis to minimize wind-induced uplift forces while maintaining the structural efficiency inherent to the dual C-purlin configuration. Wind tunnel testing conducted at an accredited independent laboratory has validated the system performance under both static and dynamic wind loading conditions.

This typhoon-rated system is essential for solar carport installations in regions where extreme wind events are regular occurrences. Primary applications include:
All high-strength Q345B components are individually marked with heat numbers for full material traceability and undergo ultrasonic testing at critical welded connections. Anchor bolt assemblies are supplied as factory-torqued sets with calibration certification and spare Belleville washers. Each shipment includes a complete wind-load calculation package stamped by a licensed structural engineer.
Our 25,000-square-meter manufacturing facility features dedicated high-strength steel processing lines with Q345B material handling and specialized welding stations. With 500MW annual production capacity and engineering teams experienced in structural design for extreme wind regions across 40+ countries, we provide project-specific wind load calculations and foundation design recommendations as standard deliverables.
The PV modules are secured using wind-rated clamping systems tested to the same 70 m/s standard as the structure. Our mounting rails incorporate module-edge retention that prevents panel uplift, and the aerodynamic profile of the Γ-frame reduces peak suction pressures on the modules themselves. Solar panels from major manufacturers are typically rated to 60+ m/s when properly mounted.
Foundation requirements are site-specific and depend on soil conditions, wind exposure category, and local building code. Our engineering team provides project-specific foundation designs including pier dimensions, reinforcement schedules, and anchor bolt specifications. In poor soil conditions, deeper piers or pile foundations may be specified.
The wind warranty requires installation by a qualified contractor following our engineered drawings and installation manual. We provide installation supervision services for first-time installers of typhoon-rated systems and can recommend certified installation partners in major markets. Self-installation with third-party engineering inspection is acceptable where properly documented.
