Working Principle
The heavy-duty mixer achieves optimal mixing uniformity in the shortest possible time through the coordinated action of the high-speed rotor, mixing pan, and multi-functional scraper.
The mixing pan, tilted at a specific angle, conveys material upward during rotation. When material reaches a certain height, it falls downward due to gravity, forming a coarse mix through horizontal and vertical movement.
Material is then conveyed upward into the mixing zone of the eccentrically positioned high-speed rotor, where it undergoes high-intensity mixing motion, resulting in a fine, high-precision mix.
The fixed multi-functional scraper disrupts material flow during mixing and directs material toward the high-speed rotor's mixing zone. It also prevents material from adhering to pan walls and bottom, ensuring 100% material participation in the mixing process.
Typically, the rotating mixing pan and high-speed rotor rotate in opposite directions for the most intense mixing motion. However, to meet specific process requirements, they can also be set to rotate in the same direction.
During material mixing, rotational speeds of the rotating drum and high-speed rotor can be preset according to process requirements. Speed adjustments can also be made during operation to achieve interleaved mixing processes.
