I.The working principle of Reverse Osmosis

Reverse Osmosis is an advanced water treatment technology that utilizes a semi-permeable membrane to remove impurities from water under high pressure. The working principle is that water in the role of a high-pressure pump is forced through the reverse osmosis membrane. RO membrane pore size is very small (about 0.0001 micron), which only allows water molecules and some trace minerals through. Bacteria, viruses, heavy metals, salts, organic matter, etc., are retained and discharged.

II.Core components of RO reverse osmosis

l High Pressure Pump: Provides enough pressure (usually 1.0-1.5 Mpa) to push water through the RO membrane.

l RO Membrane Element: The core filtration part with a pore size of 0.0001 μm.

l Membrane Housing (Pressure Vessel): Used to assemble and protect the RO membrane.

l Pre-treatment system (FRP tank + filter): removes sediment, rust, residual chlorine, hardness ions, etc., and prevents membrane clogging.

l Post-treatment system: including UV sterilization, ozone disinfection, mineralizer, etc., configured according to application requirements.

l Control system: electric control cabinet, PLC automation, can realize automatic flushing, pressure/flow monitoring

1. Q: Which machine should I choose?

A: It depends on your raw water quality and your requirements for permeate water.

Usually, there are three parts: pretreatment, the RO machine, and post-treatment. Pretreatment could be a UF(ultra filtration) system, an anti-scale dosing system, a flocculant dosing system, a disinfectant dosing system, a water softener, a sand filter, a carbon filter, a security filter, etc. Post treatment could be UV sterilizer, Ozonizer, ClO2 sterilizer, etc. And maybe you need an EDI system. We will choose the proper process according to your raw water quality and permeate water.

2. Q: What’s your machine material?

A: For pretreatment tanks, we usually use FRP or S.S. The RO frame could be S.S., carbon steel. For pipes, it is usually SS and UPVC. We can choose the material according to your special requirements.

3. Q: What’s the control method?

A: For pretreatment, you can choose manual or automatic; for the whole system, we use relay, PLC, or man-machine interface remote control

4. Q: Which spare parts need to be changed regularly?

A: Filter cartridge in the security filter and RO membranes. For the filter cartridge, it needs to be changed every 3-6 months, and for the RO membrane, you need to change it every 1-3 years. It depends on your water quality and how you maintain the machine.

A: Our warranty is 2 years. But in our experience, our machine can work for 5 years before repair.
