Pipe Fittings Carbon Steel A860 Pipe Fittings

The ASTM A860 standard encompasses forged rolled low alloy high strength seamless and electric fusion welded butt welding fittings related to ASME B16.9, B16.28, and MSS SP-75. Unlike these ASME and MSS standards, A860 fittings must conform to the additional requirements of A960 specification S58. These fittings are used in high-pressure petroleum and natural gas transmission and distribution systems. A860 includes six steel grades, namely WPHY42, WPHY46, WPHY52, WPHY60, WPHY65, and WPHY70, each of which corresponds to the respective grades of API 5L steel pipes.
