3-Tier Hierarchical Topology of HV BMS System
The energy storage monitoring system adopts three-level hierarchical control with clear logical layers:
- Bottom Layer: BMU cell monitoring units collecting cell voltage & temperature data
- Middle Layer: RBMS rack master controller managing all cells in a single battery cabinet
- Top Layer: SBMS system central controller uniformly managing up to 15 RBMS rack masters
For small-scale single-rack energy storage projects, the system can be simplified into a 2-layer structure (BMU + RBMS only) without SBMS.
