It provides an outstanding 130 nH ± 20% inductance with a flat, resonance-free broadband response spanning from 200 MHz to 22 GHz, covering the entire X-band, Ku-band, and K-band seamlessly.

To ensure the HALT20008 operates at its nominal 130nH inductance and prevents parasitic interference on your high-power PCB layout:
1.Apex (Small End) Orientation: Solder the conical apex (small head) directly to the RF transmission line trace, keeping the connecting lead as short as possible (ideally <0.5) to prevent high-frequency insertion loss spikes.
2.Epoxy Underfill Required: Because of the larger 0.08mm wire weight, the HALT20008 must be secured with a non-conductive, low-dielectric RF epoxy/glue at its base during assembly to prevent mechanical fatigue and microphonics.
3.Heat Dissipation: Ensure the base of the coil has adequate air gap or non-conductive thermal pad space if operating continuously near the 500mA thermal limit.

Q1: Can I run more than 500mA through the HALT20008 intermittently?
A: The 500mA rating is for safe continuous DC operation at +125℃ ambient. Running higher currents can increase the coil's internal temperature and DCR, possibly degrading performance. For higher current needs, contact Vibratac for custom wire-gauge conical coils.
