Solution: The high-helix spiral flute acts like a drill bit, lifting chips continuously out of the hole. This prevents chip accumulation at the bottom, which is the #1 cause of tap breakage.

Q: Why does this set mix DIN 371 and DIN 376?
A: This is for your benefit. DIN 371 (M3-M10) uses a reinforced shank for maximum rigidity in smaller sizes. DIN 376 (M12) uses a reduced shank, allowing the tap to pass through the hole for deeper threading applications.
Q: Can I use TiCN taps with manual tap wrenches?
A: While possible, these are high-performance tools optimized for CNC and machine tapping. The TiCN coating performs best at the stable, higher speeds provided by machine spindles.
Q: What is the benefit of TiCN over the standard Gold TiN coating?
