The bowl and screw rotate at high speeds with a controlled differential speed. Materials enter through the feed tube, where centrifugal force separates components by specific weight. Heavy liquids accumulate on the bowl walls and discharge through the centripetal pump, while lighter liquids form an inner ring and exit through overflow channels. Solids are continuously pushed to the bowl's tapered end by the spiral conveyor and discharged after drying.
