Description
The iron core of a diesel generator is the core electromagnetic component, composed of laminated high-permeability silicon steel sheets, undertaking the critical roles of magnetic field conduction and energy conversion. Its design directly influences power generation efficiency, temperature rise, and noise level. Modern iron cores adopt laser cutting or etching processes to ensure lamination precision, reduce eddy current loss and hysteresis loss, and enhance overall energy efficiency. The iron core must feature high magnetic permeability, low iron loss, and anti-saturation properties to adapt to the high-torque working conditions of diesel engines.

Working Principle

· Electromagnetic Induction: The diesel engine drives the rotor to rotate, generating an alternating magnetic field within the iron core.

· Magnetic Circuit Closure: The iron core forms a closed magnetic circuit, concentrating magnetic field energy and cutting the stator windings.

· Electric Energy Generation: Magnetic field changes induce current in the windings, converting mechanical energy into electrical energy.
The low-loss design of the iron core (<1.5W/kg) ensures an energy conversion efficiency of over 95%.
