Product Introduction
The security filter is made of high‑quality SUS304 or SUS316L stainless steel. Featuring light weight, easy operation, large filtration area, fast filtration speed and anti‑clogging performance, it is widely used for pretreatment and filtration in various industries.
It supports filter cartridges of different lengths from 10" to 40", and compatible with multiple cartridge types: PP melt‑blown cartridge, pleated filter cartridge, wire‑wound filter cartridge, activated carbon filter cartridge, etc.
Generally installed in front of pressure vessels to remove fine particles above 1 NTU and satisfy inlet‑water requirements for subsequent processes. It can also be placed at the terminal of the whole water‑treatment system to prevent fine particles from entering product water.
With stainless‑steel housing and internal filter cartridges (e.g. PP cotton), it is mostly applied after multi‑media pretreatment and before membrane equipment such as reverse osmosis and ultrafiltration. It traps fine residues including tiny quartz sand and activated‑carbon particles to guarantee water quality and protect membrane elements from damage by large‑particle contaminants.
Filter cartridges inside have available precision grades ranging from 0.5 μm to 100 μm. Select proper precision according to working conditions to ensure outlet‑water quality and secure downstream membrane components.
The housing of stainless‑steel security filter is constructed from premium stainless steel. Its filter cartridge adopts molded polypropylene melt‑blown media. Under pressure, raw liquid flows through filter media. Residues are trapped on filter material while filtrate passes through. It effectively removes impurities, sediments, suspended solids and bacteria from water to realize filtration.
