PRODUCT INFORMATION
ACD-100 is a high-selectivity amino carboxylic acid chelating resin designed for heavy metal adsorption from mining wastewater and acid mine drainage. The resin binds Cu2+, Pb2+ and Fe2+ through chelating complexation, achieving lower residual metal concentrations than conventional precipitation processes.
Sphelite ACD-100 is a polystyrene divinyl benzene polymer chelating resin with CH2N(CH2COOH)2 functional groups. These groups contain N and O lone pair electrons and can form stable complexes with cations such as Cu2+, Pb2+, Fe2+, Cd2+, Ni2+ and Zn2+.
Compared with traditional cation exchange resins, ACD-100 shows higher exchange capacity and faster exchange rate. It has become a mature and widely applied solution in industrial separation processes.

APPLICATION SCENARIOS
Deployed in mining operations, tailings ponds and abandoned mine remediation projects to treat acid mine drainage and process water. The resin performs reliably across fluctuating pH and flow conditions, and its high sphericity and attrition resistance minimize pressure drop and media loss in packed-bed contactors over multi-year service.
