ASD-002 is a strong-base anion exchange resin featuring a distinctive styrene-based framework with large pores, primarily used in industrial water-softening processes.
When placed in aqueous solutions containing a mixture of NO₃⁻, NO₂⁻, SO₄²⁻, Cl⁻, and HCO₃⁻ anions, ASD-002 demonstrates exceptional selectivity by efficiently targeting and removing nitric acid (in the form of NO₃⁻) and nitrite (NO₂⁻) ions, without interference from other anionic species.
This resin exhibits excellent physical and chemical characteristics, including remarkable resistance to contamination, acids, alkalis, and seepage-induced wear, ensuring long-term durability.
ASD-002 can be regenerated using sodium chloride salt solutions, making it highly recyclable. This recyclability provides substantial economic advantages through cost savings and potential revenue generation.
