MDO Nip Roller Basis Information
The MDO stretching process of biaxially oriented plastic film production line (BOPP, BOPET and other materials) is a crucial link in its production process. This process directly affects the physical properties of the film and the quality of the final product.
Preheating: The film is preheated under the action of MDO heating roller and MDO nip roller to bring it to optimal stretching temperature, enhancing molecular chain activity.
Machine Direction Oriented: The film is stretched between two rollers of unequal speed, significantly increasing strength and toughness while reducing thickness.
Cooling: The film passes through a cooling zone to solidify its molecular structure and maintain the new shape after stretching.
MDO Nip Roller Features
Flat, smooth, centered, and round surface for continuous sealing
Soft rubber covering conforms well to film surfaces, including folded edges
Designed to trap air inside film bubbles in conventional cooling systems
