With the rapid growth of communication services, ZTE has made in-depth research on the development trend of transport network technology, and launched in time the new-generation flagship packet transport product ZXCTN 6500, with the features of VIP customers and telecom service transport into consideration. ZTE ZXCTN 6500 is the first 100GE series product in the industry. Employing unified switching, it supports hybrid transport of MPLS-TP packet service and CBR (TDM etc.) service. It has multi-service transport capability, and supports multiple service interfaces such as E1, ch/CEP STM-1/4, FE, GE, 10GE, 40GE and 100GE interfaces. It also supports unified efficient transport of L1/L2/L3 services and SDN-oriented control architecture. With T-level ultra-large capacity and high/low speed slot partition and decoupling design, the 300mm-deep ZXCTN 6500 provides all-round protection and high-precision 1588V2 time synchronization functions. The launch of the ZXCTN 6500 series product effectively solves the technical problems of the transport network in its IP-based, broadband and integrated service-oriented development.

ZXCTN 6000 V3.00 supports Layer 2 and Layer 3 network or service interworking reliably and concurrently. It provides service providers a graceful migration path to a converged packet transport network based on MPLS/MPLS-TP. It enables connection-oriented characteristics of the traditional transport network such as SDH-like OAM, perfect protection mechanisms and powerful management, while maintaining the superior statistical multiplexing and flexible deployment of pure IP networks.
The ZXCTN 6000 V3.00 performs a wide range of interfaces with unmatched service flexibility. It enables service providers the ability to deliver mobile backhaul services, business-class IP and carrier Ethernet services and Time Division Multiplexing (TDM) private leased line services at speeds E1 & STM-1, and Ethernet services from 10 Mbps to 10 Gbps. ZXCTN 6120S, 6150 and 6180 V3.00 offer a switching capacity of 60, 90 & 100 Gbps and an access capacity of 58, 90 & 100 Gbps respectively in a fully redundant, non-blocking shelf.
The Most Compact 10GE Equipment
The ZXCTN 6000 V3.00 is the most compact 10GE equipment in the industry, with 60 to 100 Gbps switching capacity, 1U to 3U height and 199mm depth. The compact size of ZXCTN 6000 V3.00 can minimize the installation space, save deployment cost, and significantly improve the space utilization rate when 10GE access ring is required for LTE services.
Carrier-Class Reliability
The ZXCTN 6000 V3.00 is a fully redundant platform providing carrier-class reliability. It offers a perfect end-to-end protection mechanism for the services transported. At the access side, ZXCTN 6000 V3.00 supports Link Aggregation Group (LAG). As to the network-level protection, the ZXCTN 6000 V3.00 offers Linear Protection, Ring Protection and FRR. Especially the ZXCTN 6000 V3.00 provides Dual-homing protection to enhance networks reliability when failures occurred at more than one point.
New Generation Synchronization Technology
The cost-effectiveness and versatility of packets transport networks are driving the convergence of services. Many services place new timing and synchronization requirements onto the packet network. The ZXCTN 6000 V3.00 enables carriers to provide SONET/SDH-like Layer 1 timing throughout the network via Synchronous Ethernet and supports IEEE 1588v2 time synchronization over packet transport networks. As to the E1 circuit emulation services, the ZXCTN 6000 V3.00 performs retiming, adaptive clock recovery and differential clock recovery.
