OVERVIEW

FIW (Fully Insulated Wire) is a high-performance winding wire designed to replace conventional TIW triple insulated wire for switching transformer production. It supports a broad selection of finished outer diameters, allowing manufacturers to develop miniaturized transformers with reduced overall production costs. FIW outperforms TIW in both automatic winding compatibility and direct solderability. Adopting a multi-layer repeated coating process, the wire achieves consistent, zero-defect insulation and stable high voltage resistance, fully meeting reinforced insulation safety requirements without extra insulating sleeves.

FAQ

Q1: Can I customize the wire color?

A1: Multiple colors are available, including natural red, black, transparent, green, blue and other customized colors.

Q2: Can FIW4 wire be added with a thermal self-bonding layer

A2: Yes. Self-bonding FIW is a mature mass-production product in the winding wire industry. We can coat an extra outer thermal adhesive layer on the standard pure-insulation FIW wire. After winding, the coil can be fixed by heating without dispensing glue separately.

Q3:What conductor materials and coating can you offer?

A3:Our regular conductor materials are copper, copper alloy, aluminum, copper-clad aluminum, etc.; We can supply most of the domestic insulation varnish and top varnish, as well as some special varnish that can meet special needs.

Q4: If the MOQ is not met, can it still be produced?

A4: If the order quantity does not meet the MOQ requirement, we can also produce it for you, but the price will be higher than the MOQ price. Generally, it is calculated based on 3-5 times the MOQ unit price multiplied by the order quantity that you need, and plus a startup/module fee of 1,500 RMB. (If the total price of samples is higher than the MOQ price, then we will follow the total price of MOQ)

Q5: What is your full packaging procedure for FIW enameled wire?

A5: We wind the wire onto plastic spools first. Each spool is wrapped with bubble film and pearl cotton for full surface protection, which can prevent scratch, dampness and oxidation. Then place the wrapped spools into export cartons lined with foam boards for shock absorption. Finally, seal the cartons and reinforce them with packing straps.
