FIW (Fully Insulated Wire) is high-performance triple insulated winding wire, serving as an upgraded alternative to conventional TIW wire for switching transformers. A comprehensive range of finished outer diameters is available to support miniaturized transformer design and reduce overall production costs.
FIW delivers superior performance in automatic winding and direct solderability compared to TIW. The multi-layer repeated coating technology ensures uniform, defect-free insulation and stable high voltage resistance. It meets reinforced insulation safety standards without requiring additional insulating sleeves.

Is custom wire color acceptable?
Standard colors include natural red, black, transparent, green, and blue. Custom colors are supported.
Can thermal self-bonding layer be added to FIW wire?
Yes. Self-bonding FIW is a mass-produced mature product. An extra thermal adhesive layer can be coated externally. Coils can be fixed by heating after winding, eliminating the need for separate glue dispensing.
What conductor materials and insulating varnishes are available?
Regular conductors include copper, copper alloy, aluminum, and copper-clad aluminum (CCA). We support most domestic insulating and topcoat varnishes, as well as customized special varnishes for specific working conditions.
Can you produce orders below MOQ?
Production is available, but unit pricing will be higher. Typically, the unit price is 3–5 times the standard MOQ price plus a 1,500 RMB setup fee. If the calculated total amount exceeds the MOQ value, the MOQ price will be applied.
What is your complete packaging solution for FIW wire?
Wires are wound on plastic spools. Each spool is wrapped with bubble film and pearl cotton to prevent scratching, moisture, and oxidation. Spools are packed into export cartons with foam liner for shock absorption. Cartons are sealed and strengthened with packing belts.
